The Scorpius is a robust, compact and reliable receiver that is highly resistant to external influences. The solid cast housing makes it 100% waterproof (IP68), very strong and extremely reliable in use. Vibrations are damped by the impact-resistant and shock-proof housing, which is already pre-wired.
New radio module
Remote control of your device becomes a new experience with the in-house designed new Category 1 radio module. Years of experience and feedback from foresters to hauliers and from farmers to miners have been incorporated into this product.
Our new platform is the basis for a completely new product range and is the answer to your demand for modern interference-free communication.
Despite the low power allowance, you can work undisturbed among the jumble of signals and other sources of interference. This radio ensures maximum stability and a high range.
Multifunctional radio control system
The Tyro Scorpius multifunction receiver is the ideal wireless control system for forestry (such as winches), transport applications and various industrial, maritime and agricultural applications. The Tyro Scorpius is used in combination with the industrial remote control Fornax 2S.
The Scorpius is standard pre-wired and equipped with 2.5 meter cable so that installation will be easy.
Options
In addition to the stable basis, various optional modules are available for problem-free connection to your machine or PLC.
All these possibilities are controlled by a cleverly constructed piece of software that, of course, offers all the scope for your specific wishes.
Safety
The Scorpius is a very robust receiver and absorbs shocks or vibrations without any problems. This externally certified receiver has been tested according to the latest safety standards such as EMC/E4, PLc ISO 13849 and is in accordance with DIN-EN 17067.
LED’s
The Scorpius is equipped with a dual status LED and 2 additional LEDS for status or control indications.
Interfaces
Besides the digital outputs the system can be expanded with a CANopen, J1939 or RS232 interface. Also dual communication is possible. Also optional are the digital 2 inputs.
