Programming a new/additional Pyxis transmitter to the Auriga receiver

Please note: All systems are already programmed at the factory.

If you wish to program a new or extra transmitter to the Auriga receiver, please follow the steps shown below. First select the correct pairing method:

Pairing methods

Method 1 (for systems deliverd after May 2014)
  1. Make sure that both the transmitter is switched off.
  2. Unscrew the casing of the receiver. You will see 2 PCBs on top of each other.
  3. Make sure that the receiver is correctly connected.
    1. Connect the power supply to the V+ screw terminal of the receiver.
    2. Connect the ground cable to the V- screw terminal of the receiver.
  4. Switch on the supply voltage.
  5. Activate the programming mode by pushing the white button on the bottom receiver PCB.
  6. Activate the system by pressing the ON-button of the transmitter (within 25 seconds after pressing the button on the bottom PCB). Relays 1 becomes active (in case of a Safety Package: relays 1 & 2).
  7. The transmitter is now successfully programmed to the receiver. The system is ready to use.

To delete all the transmitters from the system, switch off the system by pressing the red OFF button of a transmitter that has been programmed to the receiver (or the red button on the receiver keyboard if you have one). Then press down the white button for more than 10 seconds.

To program more transmitters to the receiver (up to 8) repeat the above steps. This is only possible with the Pyxis-Auriga system.

  1. Unscrew the casing of the Norma receiver. You will see 2 PCSs on top of each other (figure 1).
  2. Connect the supply voltage to the V+ screw terminal of the Norma receiver.
  3. Connect the earth cable to the V- screw of the Norma receiver.
  4. Find the white button on the bottom PCB and keep it pressed down until you have completed step 7.

PLEASE NOTE: carry out the following steps quickly; if you keep the white button pressed down for longer than 10 seconds, all programmed transmitters will be deleted from the system.

  1. Switch on the power.
  2. Switch on the Cetus transmitter by pressing the green on/off button.
  3. You will hear relays click. You may release both keys.
  4. The Cetus transmitter is now successfully programmed to the Norma receiver. The system is ready for use.

Repeat steps 4 through 7 if you wish to program several transmitters to the receiver. This is only possible with the Pyxis-Auriga system (max. 8 transmitters).

To delete all the transmitters from the system, carry out steps 4 and 5 and then hold down the white button for longer than 10 seconds.
