Cetus / Norma pairing guide

This tutorial is intended for the Cetus remote control in combination with the Norma receiver.

Programming a new/additional transmitter to the Norma receiver

Please note: All systems are already programmed at the factory.

If you wish to program a new or extra transmitter to the Norma receiver, please follow the steps shown below:

Pairing methods

Method 1 (for systems deliverd after May 2014)
  1. Make sure the transmitter is turned off. 
  2. Unscrew the casing of the Norma receiver. You will see 2 PCSs on top of each other.
  3. Make sure that the receiver is correctly connected.
    1. Connect the power supply to the V+ screw terminal of the receiver.
    2. Connect the ground cable to the V- screw terminal of the receiver.
  4. Find the white button on the bottom PCB and keep it pressed down until you have completed step 7.

PLEASE NOTE: carry out the following steps quickly; if you keep the white button pressed down for longer than 10 seconds, all programmed transmitters will be deleted from the system.

  1. Switch on the power.
  2. Switch on the transmitter (For Cetus by pressing the green on/off button).
  3. You will hear relays click. You may release both keys.
  4. The transmitter is now successfully programmed to the Norma receiver. The system is ready for use.

To program more transmitters to the Norma receiver (up to 8) repeat steps 4 to 7. To delete all the transmitters from the system, follow steps 4 & 5 and keep the white button on the bottom PCB pressed down for more than 10 seconds.

  1. Unscrew the casing of the Norma receiver. You will see 2 PCSs on top of each other.
  2. Connect the supply voltage to the V+ screw terminal of the Norma receiver.
  3. Connect the earth cable to the V- screw of the Norma receiver.
  4. Find the white button on the bottom PCB and keep it pressed down until you have completed step 7.

PLEASE NOTE: carry out the following steps quickly; if you keep the white button pressed down for longer than 10 seconds, all programmed transmitters will be deleted from the system.

  1. Switch on the power.
  2. Switch on the transmitter (For Cetus by pressing the green on/off button).

  4. The transmitter is now successfully programmed to the Norma receiver. The system is ready for use.
