Explanation

  • Radio signals have a greater range, are not affected by sunlight and do not require a ‘line of sight link’.

  • A communication connection that works in one direction.
For example a transmitter that transmits to a receiver.

  • A communication connection that works in both directions.
For example a transmitter that transmits to a receiver and then receives a status message in reply.

  • A control that can adjust an analog voltage value, for example to adjust the rotational speed of a motor.

  • With a Duplex connection it is possible to send feedback of data from the receiver to the display of the transmitter. For example this can be the pressure, temperature or the level of a liquid.

  • The maximum range of a remote control is measured using a free field measurement. This means that there is a ‘line of sight link’ without obstacles and without interference on the transmission frequency.

  • This is part of the inspection for e4 certification that all our controls comply with.
It measures whether other equipment disturbs our control, but also whether our control produces signals that could disturb other equipment.

  • The IP value usually consists of 2 digits, the first digit represents the degree to which objects can penetrate. This varies from 50 mm objects to dust.
The 2nd digit represents the degree to which liquids can penetrate. This varies from drops at certain angles to being completely waterproof and pressure-tight for long periods.
The higher the value the higher the protection.
For some products there is also a 3rd digit that stands for the degree to which the product is protected against impact.

  • The I²C bus is a serial bus connection .
It was specially designed to connect microprocessors with other ICs .
A few characteristics of the I²C bus are:
    - Only 2 lines are needed: a serial data line and a serial clock line.
    - Each part on the bus can be approached with a unique address.
    - There is a simple Master / Slave relationship at all times.
    - Speed 400 kbit.
    - ‘Bidirectional’ data transfer between masters and slaves

  • The relay does not switch the current on or off. It only switches a contact, so you can determine the signal that can be switched. In other words: the incoming signal is also the outgoing  signal.

  • This is a serial network that was originally developed for the automotive industry, but has also become a popular bus for both automation and other applications. The CAN bus is above all used embedded systems, as its name indicates it is a network made up of microcontrollers. It is a two-wire, semi-duplex, high-speed network which is extremely suitable for high-speed applications that use short messages.

  • RS232 and RS485 are serial communication methods for computers and equipment. RS232 is without a doubt the best-know interface, since nowadays this serial interface is present on almost every available computer. But the RS485 interface is also interesting because it can be used in situations where it is not easy to apply the RS232 for example data acquisition and control systems where several systems communicate with each other

  • (Electromagnetic Compability)

All our remotes are EMC tested by a "Notified Body" this does not only test what the effects are on the remote from outside but also what kind of effect the remote has on other equipement. These values need to be within the legal limits. This garantees that our equipment cannot be interfered with our interferes with other equipment.

  • (Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment)

The R & TTE test, which all our remotes have been submitted to, is used to check te frequency on which these remotes are operating to check if this is within legal limits.

  • All our remotes and tranmitter under go extensive electric test procedures, on basis of those testresults modifications where made so that these remotes are completly save for out customers. Our remotes are fully certified and are save.
