Sending data back and forth for cement mixers. bi-directional control!
Our bi-directional control systems are amongst other things applied in the construction industry to operate cement mixers that have to be filled with water and every now and then have to be topped up. The mixing ratio can be seen on the handheld transmitter’s display as well as whether the water needs to be topped up. The driver can take a break in the building and on the handheld can see how much water. Etc. needs to be topped up. From inside he operates the cement mixers by radio control, without having to interrupt his break!
Shipping company, roll-on roll-off of containers and the outside lighting all remote controlled!
A shipping company specialised in container transport wants a 2-fold remote control for hoisting and lowering. But the client talks tell us that they often also need lighting in various places. In the end the client buys remote controls for the entire fleet for hoisting and lowering and for the individual control of the outside lighting!
Transmitting and receiving whilst and in between shunting trains!
Normally speaking, working with remote controls between trains is quite a problem. That is because trains, made of metal, screen off the radio frequency and especially during shunting, when you can be surrounded by trains, the signal is screened off like in a Faraday cage. This is not the case with the Tyro remote controls so the work can still be reliably done with the remote controls. That’s because the remote controls were developed specially for this and also have the E4 certificate!
