Quick-release Mooring hook

This "quick-release mooring hook" is used for safe and easy mooring of vessels. The system is designed to guarantee safety on oil, gas, chemical and grain terminals. The boat men control the installation remotely through a Tyro Pyxis / Aquarius remote. This way the ropes are unloaded from the ship or the dock remotely. The unloading is done by folding the hook.

A "two-hand control" prevents the system from getting accidentally open. All hooks are tested to 3,000 kN hydraulic test benches and equipped with the necessary safety certificates. The radiographic part has a EMC-e4 certificate meaning that the influence of other factors than the corresponding transmitter is not possible. Because the receiver is 100% waterproof and resistant to vibration, it is very suitable for the maritime application. Would you like to monitor the pulling strength of the ropes. The Tyro duplex systems can be an ideal solution! By giving a ‘load cell’ as input to the "receiver", you can use the transmitter with LCD display to read the values in Newton meters.
