Wireless control of welding manipulators
A manufacturer of welding manipulators used Tyro Remotes to manage roller benches, welding turn tables and cranes. The signal of the remote controls of Tyro Remotes did not get affected even during welding!
Multifunctional
With the help of a digital display, the user could read the speed (analog output) and the rotation direction of the roller benches and could raise it or lower it accordingly during their work.Flexible and ergonomic
Not only the flexibility of the machines was increased but also the object can be driven to a sand-blasting and paint-booth. This made the use of tricky dragging cables a thing of past.Installation and costs:
Safety Equipped with an emergency stop button (punch button), it is always possible to stop the function at any given time.
Start/Stop your engine remotely with the Remote Starter
The Remote Starter offers a universal solution for starting and stopping diesel or gasoline engines and generators from a distance up to 500 meters. A sustainable system that saves money on fuel and maintenance.
The benefits for you and the environment: - Industrial operation with large range - Cost efficient: time, fuel and depreciation - Easy to use - Less noise
The Remote Starter can easily be connected to almost all types of engines.
The system is activated with the ON button. This way the motor is put in contact and even the ignition can be started. Then the engine is started by pressing the button number 1.
If the receiver receives a signal from the dynamo, the start function is disabled. It prevents the start function form getting enabled two times. If within one minute after switching on the transmitter, the signal from the dynamo is not received, the receiver automatically switches off the motor of the engine. This makes sure that the battery does not get empty. When the emergency stop or the OFF button is pressed, the whole system gets switched off.
The wireless emergency stop, always within reach!
People often think that an emergency stop should always be hardwired. This way, the risk of a failure is minimized. From a technical point of view that’s quite true. The wired emergency stop seems absolutely safe. But is that really the case? Are the situations in which your mechanic works for the maintenance and failures always safe? Can he/she always reach the emergency stop button in case of life threatening situations?
A conventional hard-wired emergency stop is usually mounted on the machine. In an awkward position, away from the machine or in a situation where the mechanic is stuck, it is impossible for him to reach the emergency stop. This can have fatal consequences.
For example, in case of a failure by a production line, the maintenance technician would first need to disable the safety system of the production line before he can enter there to fix a machine. In such a situation, his position and location often make it difficult for him to reach the emergency stop button when required. Even in normal use, it often happens that an operator is too far away from the hard emergency stop button.
A portable, wireless emergency stop like the Tyro Indus Gemini is the answer! With this unique portable solution you can anticipate the risks, and can react very quickly. The compact transmitter with the mushroom-shaped emergency stop button can be easily attached to your belt, so it is always within reach.
The Gemini receiver can be connected to a safety PLC or directly on the main relay. The Tyro Indus Gemini: safety and functionality at its best!
