Receiver sticks to the trailer using strong magnets
Tyro Remotes is very flexible; in addition to software changes - the technical control part - we also make hardware adjustments.
Embedded magnets in our waterproof (IP 68) receiver: The market desired a way to mount the axlesteering receiver on the trailer. We offered a solution by using strong, integrated magnets which make it possible to attach the receiver to the trailer. This (realized) desire has great advantages for both the trailerproducer and the user:
- Simple and fast installation; because of the magnets the receiver can easily be attached to the trailer.- Plug & play: drilling holes to attach the receiver to the trailer is a thing of the past.
- Easy to remove; when the driver fears theft of the device, he can easily detach the receiver and keep it in the trailer cabin until it is needed again.This - sometimes temporarily - attachment obviously needs to be strong and reliable, so that it can stay on the trailer permanently. By using high quality, strong magnets, even a carwash won't be a problem.
The receiver is 100% waterproof (IP 68) and shock and impact resistant, so that is stays in place during all kinds of extreme conditions.
Wireless Axlesteering with a Tyro remote control
For years, Tyro Remotes is working with the largest European trailer builders. They use and supply various wireless axle steering controls. Together with them, Tyro Remotes realizes creative technical solutions that meet the highest quality standards.
For example the remote control of: axles of flatbed trailers, moving floors, winches, car decks, shunting systems, fork-lift trucks, etcetera.
For this project we have been approached by Breeman International Supplies. For the development of a trailer with a 3-axle and 4-axle bogie, a moveable gooseneck and a power sliding platform with independent hydraulic suspension, they were looking for a radio remote control for axlesteering.
By extending the standard Tyro wireless axle control, is now is suitable for a variety of inputs and outputs which were needed for the Breeman system.
As each bogie is equipped with its own receiver, it's possible to control the bogies both separately and simultaneously with the handheld transmitter.
