Client-specific & smart controls
This month we put the spotlight on a client-specific control developed in partnership and will introduce you to the possibilities of our ‘smart PLC controls’.
In close corporation with the company Koninklijke Nooteboom Trailers B.V., Tyro has developed the Wireless Steering Control unit especially for hydraulically operated trailers. Koninklijke Nooteboom Trailers has a leading market position in Europe in designing and producing vehicles for abnormal loads from 20 to 1000 tonnes load capacity. The product range includes expendable and hydraulically operated low-loaders, semi-low-loaders, flat trailers and module trailers. Each of which is an innovative and efficient transport solution, for which the Tyro remote controls offer clear added value. You will find a publication about this development in 'Tyro in de media'.
Tyro Remotes: more than remote switching!
Making optimum use of our built-in PLCs means that amongst other things the following are possible:
- Dual communication of analog values such as temperature, pressure or litres (up to 12 bits). The values can be displayed on the LCD screen or passed onto your own control as output by RS232.
- Start up diesel generators with a preheating time by making use of our timed outputs.
- Switch both forced make-contacts and breaker contacts.
- Operation via Can-bus and/or PWM output.
- Replace control panels by the PLC equipped with a backlit keyboard.
