ISO 9001:2000 Certification Tyro Remotes
The latest ISO standard is the ISO 9001:2000, which has replaced the ISO 9001, 9002 and 9003 standards from 1994.
The focus on controlling processes is amongst other things expressed by the model by W. Edwards Deming, which is the pivotal point of the ISO 9001:2000 standard. This model is known as the ‘Deming circle’ or ‘PDCA circle’.

According to this model, all processes or activities are divided into four steps:
1) Plan: Determine the desired goals, results, methods and resources
2) Do: Carry out the processes or activities
3) Check: Check whether the result meets the requirement set
4) Act: Take measures to get closer to the desired result.
ISO 9001 is based on 8 different principles of quality management, which form the foundation and to which the PDCA circle has to be applied:
1) Client orientation
2) Leadership
3) Employee participation
4) Approach to processes
5) Management approach to systems
6) Decision-making on the basis of facts
7) Win-win relationships with suppliers
8) Continuous improvement
